Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled OR RN for a perioperative position requiring an active KS or compact RN license and recent operating room experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the perioperative department of a hospital setting
  • Primary role is as an Operating Room RN
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, Saturday through Monday
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide nursing care and support during surgical procedures in the operating room
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical and perioperative team
  • Must be able to work overnight weekend shifts
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent operating room nursing experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
  • No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the last 12 months
