About the Role The Registered Nurse provides leadership to the mental health treatment team during a designated shift through making patient assignments for responsibilities and activities and general supervision of programming, treatment, and direct care staff. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a diploma or an associate degree, B.S.N. preferred. Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Missouri. Required Skills Knowledge of Professional Nursing. Advanced knowledge of adolescent and child behaviors and knowledge of nursing interventions that are appropriate for the treatment of children and adolescents in need of psychiatric care. Strong communication skills and customer service oriented. Preferred Skills Experience in the psychiatric treatment of children and an adolescent is preferred.
