Security Professional - Chemical Facility Patrol
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related operations within a chemical or petrochemical environment.Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.What We're Looking For :

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
