About Middle East Institute
Founded in 1946, the Middle East Institute is the oldest Washington-based institution dedicated solely to the study of the Middle East. It is a non-partisan think tank providing expert policy analysis, educational and professional development services, and a hub for engaging with the region's arts and culture.
About the role
The Middle East Journal is the oldest peer-reviewed publication dedicated to the study of the modern Middle East. The team seeks an intern to assist in the publication of quarterly issues of the Journal and help with the general operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong background in editing and writing, as well as a demonstrated interest in the Middle East. They should be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to the success of our publication. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity will be key. The candidate must also be able to work in person at our office in DC.
