Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP / PA)

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $97.00 - $105.00

This facility is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity :

Schedule : 12 hour, day shifts, 7 days per week. Mostly covering days.

Practice Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient

Type of cases and required procedures : Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line. Writing daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging. Ordering medications, testing, procedures when indicated.

Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated including : arterial line placement, central line placement, cardioversion.

Credentialing timeframe : 60 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : Cerner

Certifications required : Board certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support

Licensure required : Active North Carolina license and Drug Enforcement Administration license.
