Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a secure and welcoming environment. This armed post requires you to carry a concealed weapon as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate : $32.70 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the environment.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Interact with staff and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific security-related requirements.
  • Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols and directives from site leadership and Allied Universal management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
