Certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE (preferred)

Must-Have Skills : Vent management, IV starts, chest tubes, IV medication titration, experience with Neonatal Resuscitation preferred

Description :

This position involves nursing care for neonates of all gestational ages.

The unit provides care in a Level III NICU.

Diagnoses include low birth weight, high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, total body cooling, and feeders / growers.

Please note there is no ECMO or cardiac surgery performed.

The patient-to-nurse ratio typically ranges from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4.

The successful candidate will work closely with CNA staff.

Charge nurses will attend deliveries when necessary, and there is a dedicated transport team available 24 / 7.

Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners provide round-the-clock coverage.

Charting is performed using a specified electronic health record system.

The facility follows established weekend rotation and holiday expectations.

Travelers may be placed on call for low census situations.

All time off requests must be pre-approved by management.

This role offers free parking and a dedicated support team for additional assistance.
