Salary begins at $73,885.00 + per year depending on experience based on a 1.0 FTE.
Responsible for planning and administering physical therapy treatment plans designed to promote overall fitness and health of patients.
Essential Functions of the Job : [Other duties may be assigned.]
Consult with and evaluate the patient to determine patient goals and needs.Diagnose and treat movement dysfunction.Create plans of care and document patient records in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor, and accrediting requirements.Provide education on therapy exercise techniques and use of adaptive equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs.Provide hands-on therapy such as massage, thermotherapy, dry needling, etc. as applicable.Work collaboratively with other providers including other therapists, surgeons, and the patient’s primary care provider.Clean and maintain equipment to ensure clean and safe work environment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum Level of Completed Education : Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy schoolPrior years of experience in similar role : 1-2Experience with systems, computer applications / software : None required. Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.Required (or Preferred) Licensure / Cert / Credentials : Successful passing of the National Physical Therapy Examination; must have active Wisconsin Physical Therapy licenseBenefit Statement
