OVERVIEW : The primary purpose of this position will be to manage the cost and profitability of the project business; to create data-driven strategies that improve our company's processes and increase our market share. You will be working with a team to analyze the results of projects, ensure proper reporting and coding of cost / expenses, develop analytics tools, and report back on your findings and solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with coworkers and management to implement improvements
- Ensure all costs entered the BuildOps system correctly and properly assigned to jobs
- Evaluate budgeting process to ensure all costs are captured on jobs in the planning process
- Execute final project closeout reviews and identify opportunities in operational and financial processes
- Develop, enhance, and implement new systems and operational improvements.
- Document existing systems and recommend changes to enhance data flow.
- Financial responsibility for existing systems and reliance and reconciliation of systems
- General accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to : timely, quality month-end close to comply with the Divisional close schedule; review of monthly, quarterly, and year-end packages for the Division or Corporate; development and implement procedural improvements; active involvement with the preparation and analysis of the AOP

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING :
Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or university and 3 years related experience; Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) preferred.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS :
None required.COMPUTER SKILLS :
Proficiency with data visualization software like Microsoft Power BI is strongly preferredExperience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is requiredExperience working with Databases and querying skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels.TRAVEL :
