Section Head, Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $450000.00 - $500000.00

The University of Colorado, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology seeks applications to join a dynamic academic program as the Section Head of Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography. Candidates must be a BC / BE cardiologist with advanced imaging training and expertise to lead an integrated approach to cardiovascular imaging, training, and research.

Opportunity Highlights

• Provide leadership and oversight for our multimodality cardiac imaging group (echocardiography, nuclear / PET, CT, and MRI)
• Expand access and grow new cardiac imaging modalities in the Denver Metro region while influencing cardiac imaging across the Mountain West
• Provide oversight to fellows in the general cardiology program related to imaging training and further mature an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship program
• Drive progress in cardiac imaging research, including the development of the new $30M Center for Advanced Image Guidance
• Be a part of University of Colorado Hospital, the No.1 hospital in Colorado, recognized for excellence in patient care, which is integrated with the larger UCHealth system

Level III Certification in Cardiac CT and / or MRI
