    • Job Summary

      We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Secretary or Paralegal (or Lawyer) who wants to transition to financial services to support the CEO (a lawyer) of our boutique wealth management firm. You will communicate with clients, compile client files, attend client meetings, and carry out a variety of support and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and contribute in a meaningful way. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and genuine contributor.

      Responsibilities

    • Provide daily support to the CEO
    • Manage calendar
    • Communicate with clients and centers of influence
    • Welcome clients into the office and evaluate their needs
    • Prepare client-specific documents, including memoranda of meetings and projects
    • Ensure that client-related documents are well organized and available for review
    • Attend client meetings and record important information
    • Maintain and update documentation
    • Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal (or Lawyer) or similar role is preferred
    • Top grades
    • References (written letters from past employers)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Highly organized with document management experience
    • Excellent research skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Office and CRM skills
    • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
    • Good sense of humor
    • Background check required
    • Retirement benefits begin after a year of full time employment; Health insurance begins after 90 days of full time employment. Salary depends on experience. Please do not apply if you live more than 30 minutes from N. Stamford. Please be prepared to provide letters of recommendation.
