Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Longview, TX

Start Date : ASAP (target 09 / 22 / 2025)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift Details :

Day shift, 8-hour days

36 hours guaranteed weekly (expectation of up to 40 hours)

OT must be pre-approved by director

No floating to other clinics

Requirements :

Active TX PT license (or eligibility)

Outpatient experience preferred

Will accept new grads

Will accept first-time travelers

Scope of Role :

The Physical Therapist will provide acute inpatient PT following elective orthopedic surgeries. The patient population is generally high-functioning with minimal comorbidities, and typical stay is ~48 hours post-surgery. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment plan development, mobility training, patient / family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation.

Patient Details :

Population : Acute PT post-elective orthopedic surgery

Productivity expectation : 60 visits / week

Patient load : 12–14 patients / day

Double-booking of follow-up visits expected
