Where You'll Work

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University are seekingAcademic Hematology / Oncology Division Chief. Thisis afull timeemployed position offering Faculty appointment with Creighton University and the opportunity to build a new fellowship program. The ideal candidate will provide patients and their families with access to the latest treatments and resources in acompassionate manner.

As the Division Chief :

  • Build a new Academic Division of Hematology Oncology
  • Start a Hematology / Oncology Fellowship; Program Director will have additional dedicated academic FTE
  • Recruit new faculty to the program
  • .1 FTE Academic / Chief; .2 FTE Medical Director; .7 FTE Clinical
  • Possible opportunities for involvement with the Hereditary Cancer Center
  • Faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine
  • Participate in Clinical Trials and Research
  • Partner with Radiation Oncology
  • Participate in weekly tumor board
  • Comprehensive patient and family resources including genetics
  • Large established Employed Primary Care referral base

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology with a minimum of 7 years experience post fellowship.
  • Current rank of Associate Professor or higher
  • Experienced with research and fellowship education
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Ability to obtain Nebraska License
