Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week, full-time home health contract in Lexington, SC. In this role, youll deliver personalized in-home care to adult and geriatric patients, supporting their independence and overall well-being. Contract Details :
- Location : Lexington,SC , and surrounding areas
- Company : Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with a Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Contract Length : 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
- Hours : Full-time, Scheduled 40 hours per week, no guaranteed hours
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
- Compensation : Negotiable with client, based on experience and territory budget; paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay
- Productivity : 30-32 per week, up to 35 visits
- Mileage Reimbursement : 0.48c per mile from patient home to home, 150-250 miles per week expected
- Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401 (k) match after 90 days
Job Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs.Educate patients and their families on care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and ensure compliance with agency standards.Travel to patient homes within the area, utilizing reliable transportation.Participate in case conferences and team meetings to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.Location Details : Lexington, SC, is a charming and growing town just outside Columbia, offering a mix of small-town friendliness and modern conveniences. Important Note : This contract position comes with limited training and orientation. Candidates must have prior home health experience and be proficient in both OASIS documentation and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) to be considered.
