About The Position

Job Title : Pediatric Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 shifts per pay period

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (1800 - 0630)

Experience : Minimum 3 years

License : Valid RN license from any state in the United States

Certifications :

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire

Must-Have : Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Description :

The Registered Nurse will perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments.

The nurse must be able to work independently in completing assignments.

Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies.

Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.

The work environment serves a diverse community.

The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and nurse practitioners.

The position will require flexibility and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations within a healthcare setting.

Candidates must hold the necessary qualifications and certifications throughout employment.
