job_description.job_card.job_descriptionConduct regular audits and assessments of supplier processes, quality management systems, and product / service quality to identify areas for improvement and adherence to agreed-upon standards. Establish and maintain quality agreements and requirements with suppliers to ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications. Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement corrective action plans, process improvements, and best practices to enhance product / service quality and reliability. Provide guidance and support to suppliers in understanding and implementing quality management system requirements. Monitor and analyze supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and audits to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain scorecards to track supplier performance and communicate performance feedback to suppliers and internal stakeholders. Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplied products / services promptly and effectively. Escalate significant quality concerns to relevant stakeholders and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supplier quality evaluations, audits, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Prepare regular reports and summaries of supplier quality performance for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure effective communication and alignment on quality expectations with suppliers. Communicate and educate suppliers on quality standards, requirements, and changes in specifications.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing, managing, and improving the quality of products and services supplied by external vendors. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure that their processes align with our quality standards and requirements.
