Job Description :
Provides pulmonary care to critically ill, non-critical and chronically ill adult, pediatric and neonatal patients under a physician's direction with minimal supervision.

Respond to emergencies, manage airways, deliver aerosolized drugs, manage ventilators, perform oral hygiene, place and maintain airway retaining devices, manage airway support devices, deliver oxygen, monitor therapy, analyze chest films, collect and analyze blood gases, analyze EKGs, document accurately and completely, clean and stock equipment and supplies
Participate in CAP and JC surveys
May function as Shift Leader or Team Leader, advanced practice skills include therapeutic gas management and monitoring, pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assist, hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, nocturnal SpO2 evaluation
