Role Overview
This position is hybrid , requiring reporting to Cole Engineering at least three times per week. Please note, this role is not eligible for relocation benefits, and relocation costs are the responsibility of the candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead Manufacturing to Product Engineering design and build strategies for your commodity across vehicle programs.
- Collaborate with PE, ME, and other functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality program outcomes.
- Participate in workshops, resolve issues, escalate concerns, and support program reviews and launches.
- Develop strategies, lead lessons learned sessions, and support global manufacturing initiatives.
- Travel domestically and internationally about 20-25% of the time.
Qualifications
Engineering degree with 10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, especially in body manufacturing or vehicle assembly.Proven project success, excellent communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of global vehicle development processes and manufacturing requirements.Proficiency in MS Office, benchmarking tools, and Auros preferred.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering.Experience with ME Body Dimensional, ME Body Execution, or GM global projects.Understanding of Virtual Engineering and recent program launches.Additional Notes
