Our Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses are experts in providing care to our patients who have wound, ostomy, and / or continence needs. As a WOCN, you would use a comprehensive risk assessment, effective prevention and treatment strategies, as well as patient, family and staff education to achieve positive patient outcomes. Unique to this role, WOCN coordinate and participate in the education of nursing and medical personnel to increase their knowledge and performance skills related to this patient population.
