Family Law Attorney

Kontnik Cohen specializes in family law, civil rights, employment law, and appeals. Our family law practice is known for handling complex divorce, custody, and financial cases. We are seeking an attorney who has at least 3 years of experience practicing family law to join our growing team (clerkships with judges in domestic relations are included for purposes of experience). The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day and routine family law matters independently while also partnering with senior attorneys on complex, high-stakes cases. Although this position is in-person, the firm recognizes that employees often integrate a mix of office and remote work in their weekly routines and the firm will support remote work in appropriate circumstances. Compensation and Benefits : Base Compensation : $125,000 to $155,000 Clerkship Bonus : $5,000 for law clerks who (after passing the bar) worked full-time for a Colorado district court judge or magistrate presiding over family law cases Business Origination Income : For each case that the attorney originates to the firm, the attorney will receive 15% of the collected case profit (revenue minus cases expenses), paid monthly, in addition to salary Annual Bonus : Based on firm and employee performance Comprehensive Insurance Benefits : The firm will pay 100% of the employee's premiums for the firm's group insurance plans, which are comprehensive health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and long-term disability.
