Service Technician

Reports To : Service Manager

Job Purpose : Provide general structural pest control service in various locations to the satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with industry, company, and governmental rules, regulations, and policies.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Be able to inspect, diagnose a pest problem and render appropriate service using approved materials and methods
• Be courteous and customer service-minded at all times. Be able to communicate and relate to the public
• Exhibit productive use of service and travel time
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with the label, state and federal regulations and in accordance with established company policies and procedures
• Respond to unscheduled requests for service. Make phone calls to communicate with customers and office staff as needed to assure smooth flow of service and communication
• Maintain care, custody, and upkeep of company vehicle, equipment, materials, and records. Maintain accurate and legible and complete reports and service records
• Submit records and reports to office in timely manner as required
• Obtain appropriate license and certification within one year of employment and maintain such through attending required recertification training
• Recognize and participate in sales opportunities
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
