Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring ER experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting

Night shifts are required from 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am

Assignment length is 13 weeks

Potential to float to other locations or units with similar or lower-level acuity within the health system

Responsible for direct patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes

Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing

Access to confidential patient information is required

Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently and with a team

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license

Minimum of 3 years recent ER nursing experience required

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
