Job Title : Clinical Research Coordinator
Location : Carson City, NV
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (must be available to stay until 6 : 30 PM on some days)
Pay Rate : $18-$23 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our growing team in Carson City. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and executing clinical research studies while ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality data collection. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong clinical experience, and a passion for improving the patient experience.
Job Responsibilities
Seek to improve the patient's experience, never compromising on safety.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, participants, healthcare partners, investigators, sponsors, and vendors.
Execute enrollment plans for assigned studies by identifying, contacting, screening, and enrolling eligible participants.
Build effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, investigators, and internal / external partners on clinical trials.
Support enrollment goals by contributing to patient retention strategies and building relationships within local communities.
Ensure the scientific integrity and accuracy of all study data, including patient visit documentation, CTMS entries, electronic reporting, and sponsor case report forms.
Maintain audit-ready study documentation and ensure timely reporting of adverse events and protocol deviations.
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), OSHA guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
Conduct and document the informed consent process in compliance with study protocols.
Educate the research team and healthcare staff regarding study procedures, investigational product dosing, and monitoring requirements.
Coordinate and conduct patient visits according to protocol timelines.
Communicate effectively and escalate issues appropriately to support timely resolution.
Perform clinical and laboratory tasks, including obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, and collecting, processing, and shipping biological samples.
Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to the organization's core values.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant experience with strong clinical skills required
Phlebotomy experience preferred
1-2 years of recent direct patient care experience (medical assistant, phlebotomy, or clinical research)
Collaborative, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
