Now Hiring : EMS Engineer โ€“ Level I

Location : Richardson, TX

Compensation : $75,000 โ€“ $95,000 annually (Level I)

๐Ÿš€ About the Role

As an Energy Management System (EMS) Engineer โ€“ Level I , youโ€™ll start your journey in the building automation and energy management industry from the perspective of a controls engineer. Youโ€™ll work closely with senior leaders, project managers, and experienced EMS Engineers to learn the fundamentals of designing, programming, and commissioning building automation systems.

๐Ÿ”ง What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Develop controls installation submittals, wiring diagrams, and bills of material .
  • Program controllers and create project sequences of operation and graphics.
  • Support material planning, project submittals, and documentation processes.
  • Gain hands-on experience with system navigation, WebCTRL software, and Eikon programming .
  • Assist higher-level engineers and technicians with project start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to deliver successful projects.
  • Learn and apply LSI Engineering Standards and ARC 156 rules.

  • Strong foundation in HVAC basics, electrical knowledge, and computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) .
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment drawings, and floor plans.
  • Interest in learning programming, system graphics, and energy management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
