Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing and performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as leadership in guiding maintenance staff and ensuring safe, efficient operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead and support daily maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose and repair complex electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (including Allen Bradley and Siemens ).
Perform and oversee robot programming and automation system adjustments as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
Utilize basic fabrication skills to modify, repair, or create components when required.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and spare parts inventory.
Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance team members.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency.
Qualifications :
Advanced experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems required.
Hands-on experience with PLC logic and programming .
Experience with robot programming and automation systems.
Working knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens controls.
Basic fabrication and mechanical skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
