Manage multi-party, multi-jurisdiction deals from diligence through post-closing. Support restructurings and enforcement when needed. Partner with clients and internal teams to deliver polished, on-time results. 2–7 years of law firm transactional experience. Experience in one or more : securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, maritime, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, aviation. Sharp drafting, negotiating, and organizational skills; calm under multiple timelines. J.D. with strong academics; Florida admission (or actively pursuing). High-impact matters with marquee clients. Personalized environment : mentorship, training, and real feedback. Rapid responsibility based on readiness—not just class year. Hybrid work : 3 days in-office, 2 remote. Salary : $235,000 – $330,000 base, commensurate with class year / experience. Bonus : Discretionary annual program. Retirement : Traditional & Roth 401(k) via Vanguard. Global Transportation Finance Associate — Miami (Hybrid)
Shape cross-border deals that keep the world moving. Join a nationally recognized Global Transportation Finance team and work on complex, high-value transactions across aviation, maritime, rail, and general equipment—with real client exposure from day one.
The Opportunity
- Own meaningful work early. Draft and negotiate core financing, leasing, purchase, and security documents; run checklists; drive closings.
- Think globally. Tackle cross-border matters (collateral, registrations, sanctions / treaties) and collaborate with a 60+ lawyer platform handling sophisticated international deals.
- Build your brand. Work closely with senior lawyers, join client calls, and contribute to business development in a supportive, collaborative culture.
- Join a top-tier practice. The Global Transportation Finance Group is Chambers USA Band 1—19 years running, with a roster of banks, leasing companies, airlines, funds, and investors.
