Test Analyst – Warehouse Management System
Columbus, OH Hybrid (3–5 days onsite per week)
12+ month contract
This position is on the Testing center of excellence team and will be working with Logistics, OMS and SAP teams. The analyst is responsible for test preparation, test execution, and defect management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Must have experience with test case design and execution, Bug tracking, PKMS hands-on testing (inbound, outbound, inventory), Integration testing across OMS, PKMS, and ERP, and knowledge of multiple test types : sprint, regression, end-to-end, smoke, integration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand business processes, technologies, and architectures.
- Create and update test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements.
- Define and manage appropriate test data in test environments.
- Execute test cases, document results, and provide proof of testing.
- Log, track, and retest defects in the test management tool.
- Provide timely status updates to test leads and managers.
- Deliver quality work that meets business partner and application team needs.
- Collaborate across cross-functional project teams.
- Assist in driving issues to closure and completing assignments in line with priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Retail industry experience preferred.Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.Hands-on experience testing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), specifically Manhattan PKMS, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and exception handling.Experience with integration testing for order release, shipping confirmations, inventory feeds, returns, and interfaces between OMS, PKMS, ERP, and TMS.Knowledge of PKMS batch jobs, screen flows, and related ERP system integrations.Familiarity with EDI flows and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).Ability to validate data using basic SQL queries.Experience designing and executing test cases, including multiple test types (sprint, smoke, regression, end-to-end, integration).Proficiency with test and defect management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, etc.), including bug tracking.Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).Experience working in onshore / offshore models.Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
