Schedule Day shift, Monday to Friday, with 5x8-hour block scheduling from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30 or 08 : 00 to 16 : 30. Job Description An exciting opportunity for a Peri-Operative Endoscopy Registered Nurse in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Join our dedicated team to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, which include examinations and treatments for various gastrointestinal conditions. Responsibilities Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient response. Handle and label specimens accurately. Conduct pre-procedure assessments, including obtaining EKG / ECG and starting IVs. Manage airway during recovery and ensure patient safety post-procedure. Assist in various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Endoscopy preferred; strong candidates with less experience will be considered. MD RN license required. Certifications : BLS and ACLS are required; NIHSS preferred. Preferred skills include administering conscious sedation, interpreting dysrhythmias, and familiarity with equipment used in endoscopy.
