Job Inputs :
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the Supply Chain team and provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient operations within the department.
- Act as liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and ensure order expectations are met.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes for post-order activities, including order confirmation, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
- Monitor vendor partner performance; identify concerns and implement corrective actions to ensure streamlined continuity of service.
- Proactively address client concerns and provide solutions to improve their experience and ensure service satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and registration requirements and regulations.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and / or Training :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field or equivalent work experienceAdditional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plusProficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)Proficient in analytical applications like Power BI and Business objects is preferred, but not requiredRelevant Work Experience :
3-5 years’ experience in supply chain management, logistics or a related area as an individual contributorPrior fleet management, automotive industry, or transportation logistics experience preferredBreadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or departmentReviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracyPlanning / Organizing / Managerial Knowledge :
