Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. The Program Manager drives the planning, initiation, and management of corporate programs, as well as leading and guiding the work of technical staff. The individual serves as liaison between the business and technical aspects of projects, plans project stages and assesses the business implications for each stage. This vital role also manages and drives program and proposal progress to assure scope, schedule deadlines, budgets and process standards are achieved. The Program Manager, Lead is a professional and subject matter expert with comprehensive job area knowledge and in-depth knowledge of program and project management, managing large and complex projects and processes with minimal direction or oversight to achieve operational targets and goals with significant improvements on business or functional results.

Essential Functions :

• Lead program teams through all phases of the program / project life cycle
• Manage with minimal supervision all levels of assigned program team personnel
• Manage relationships with all levels of the customer's organization
• Manage program financials, schedule, and scope / requirement objectives
• Engage in direct customer interaction when scoping new product capabilities
• Knowledge of full program life cycle (Agile and other life cycles); customer needs, design, development, testing, deployment, support
• Track program progress and conduct status meetings with all team members
• Independently perform program / project management responsibilities
• Collaborate and communicate with customers via face-to-face, telephone, email, and other media to maintain strong customer relationships and set proper customer expectations
• Communicate the customer's goals and represent the customer's interests to the team
• Effectively interact with other departments to gather, monitor, and analyze performance data
• Be responsible for all customer communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on customer deliverables and revenue
• Provide project status reports, address issues and problems as appropriate
• Verify that processes and procedures are completed and quality standards are met
• Pursue opportunities for program growth and new business
• Actively look for new employees
