Department : Maternity Unit- West

Shift : (2) 12 hr shifts, 6a-6p and (1) 8 hour shift that will either be 6a-2p or a 2p-10p; 32 hrs / wk - no weekends or holidays

Responsibilities

Performs general secretarial / receptionist support to the department.

Handles mail, performs routine copying and orders supplies.

Answers, screens and routes calls. Communicates effectively with a wide variety of families and employees.

Uses multiple software : Microsoft Office (Word) and EPIC.

Qualifications

Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Experience : Must be familiar with word processing software and basic computer skills. Previous healthcare experience preferred. One year experience in business or secretarial environment preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office - basic computer skills. Customer / patient focused.
