Locum Tenens Anesthesiology Opportunity - Dunkirk, New York Position : Anesthesiologist (MD / DO)Location : Dunkirk, NYSetting : Hospital-basedStart Date : As soon as availableContract Length : Ongoing Schedule & Shift Details Shift Hours : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Shift Type : 8-hour guarantee per day Call : No call required Weeknight or weekend call help is preferred, but optional CRNAs take call independently High-Priority Coverage Dates (as of Sept 22) : November : 13, 14 December : 1-5, 22-26 Clinical Details Daily Volume : Varies depending on case load Patient Population : Adults only Support Staff : 1 MD and 4 CRNAs CRNA Supervision : Mix of hands-on and supervision Typical day : MD supervises 4 CRNAs If short-staffed, MD may take a case until ratio is safe Surgeons can assist CRNAs if MD is not available EMR : Meditech paper charting Required Procedures & Skills Orthopedic Blocks - Required No OB Comfort with both supervision and hands-on cases Licensing & Certifications New York Medical License - Required Board Certification - Required DEA - Required Certifications - BLS and ACLS Required Minimum Experience - Required Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
