QED Hospitality is a restaurant operations management group, focused on running Food & Beverage operations in boutique hotels and exclusive sites nationally.

We bring our operational acumen to the table, developing and managing restaurants tailored to the hotel, the region and the demands of the market. These are not cookie cutter concepts, but true restaurants born of the region and based on our history.

As a Barback, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our bar team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Our bars also function as service bars for our restaurants, so strong time-management skills and attention to detail are key. From stocking and prepping to keeping the workspace clean and organized, you’ll help set the bar team up for success and deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist bartenders with daily prep and bar setup.
  • Restock bar supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment behind the bar.
  • Unpack, organize, and rotate incoming deliveries.
  • Polish, wash, and stock glassware as needed.
  • Provide support during service by anticipating needs and responding quickly.
  • Uphold company standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest interactions.

  • Qualifications : Required :

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs, and stand / walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Preferred : High school diploma or GED. Previous hosting experience is a plus.

    PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS :

    Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate restaurant and office equipment and machines. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
