American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology assignment requiring a TX or compact license and ACLS / BLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Main Radiology unit of an acute care settingFocus on interventional radiology procedures including catheter placements, moderate sedation, and anesthesia carePatient care involves both scheduled outpatient and inpatient casesSchedule consists of variable day shifts with 4x10 hour shifts (7 : 00-17 : 30 or 8 : 00-18 : 00)Call coverage required one or two days per month with 7-day call coverage per rotationEnvironment and workflow similar to a Cath LabEMR system used is EpicCare Inpatient (EMR 2010)Role includes preparing patients, monitoring during procedures, and post-procedural careFlexibility is essential due to occasional high volume and fluctuating schedulesManager is flexible with scheduling requestsFirst day orientation providedDaily parking available with multiple options (daily or monthly rates)Candidates cannot have worked for CommonSpirit (including CHI) as a direct hire within the last yearScrub attire required per unit policy\n \n Requirements\n
Active TX or compact RN license at the time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)Minimum 2 years of RN experienceCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications requiredRadiology nursing experience preferred; if not, ICU or ER experience requiredExperience with moderate sedation, catheter placements, and anesthetic supportAbility to flex scheduling as neededTwo references required : one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the past three years (with dates of employment and eligibility for rehire)Copy of driver's license required for consideration\n Benefits\n
