Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift contract requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and experience with trauma and advanced CT procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital CT department
  • Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Responsibilities include basic CT scans, CTA scans, CT brain perfusions, and trauma scans
  • Uses GE CT scanner and PACS system
  • Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required or will result in additional orientation hours
  • Travelers may be required to float to other areas within their clinical scope
  • Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
  • Return staff will be considered under specific guidelines
  • Requests for block or specific schedule dates will not be accommodated
  • All requested time off must be declared prior to contract consideration
  • Additional unbillable orientation hours will be added for those without current Epic experience
  • No special dress code noted, standard hospital attire expected

  • Current ARRT certification and BLS required
  • CT registry preferred
  • Minimum one year of CT experience with knowledge of trauma scanning and advanced CT procedures
  • Epic EMR experience required within the last 12 months or willingness to complete additional orientation
  • Must pass an Epic competency exam on the first attempt
  • Valid TN or compact state license required if applicable
  • Ability to provide two professional references
  • Men must be clean shaven to pass fit testing
