Job Summary

Position is responsible for evaluating, performing, and overseeing various laboratory tests / procedures as assigned. Assists in development of new or revised procedures. Serves as the person in-charge of the department in the absence of the Lab Director, Medical Laboratory Specialist, or Manager.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in a biological science required (equivalency required for foreign education); (incumbents hired into this job prior to 7 / 1 / 2019 bachelor's is not required).

Licenses / Certifications : Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT), Certified CLS (ASCP), or Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International) CM, or Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP).
