Sr Facilities Engineer

Overview

As a Sr Facilities Engineer here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior-level role and focus on managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical facilities. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives
• Create, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
• Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed
• Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; manage permits and certifications; stay informed about industry standards
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service levels
• Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
• Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure maintenance work meets established standards
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents
• Collaborate with internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices
