Overview
As a Sr Facilities Engineer here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior-level role and focus on managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical facilities. You will help ensure the functionality, safety, and sustainability of facilities while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives
- Create, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
- Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed
- Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; manage permits and certifications; stay informed about industry standards
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service levels
- Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
- Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure maintenance work meets established standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents
- Collaborate with internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematicsMinimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenanceStrong knowledge of building systems and equipmentProven leadership and management skillsExperience with budget managementWe Value
