Database Administrator (DBA) - Postgres - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Responsibilities
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have TS / SCI clearance w / active polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree
- At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
- Experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postress, and MySQL & Oracle's database (10 – current).
- Extensive experience with database design, as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
- Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desired
- Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration – desired
- Designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
- Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
- Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
- Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
- Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning
- Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
