What you will be doing :
Analyze overload permit applications under supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.
Review analysis results and recommend safe travel routes for overload vehicles (e.g., using ProMiles, OHPS).Interpret complex plans to support ODOT policy implementation and reduce risks.Bridge Design & Load RatingPerform calculations for bridge design and update standard project specifications and plans.
Conduct load rating analysis for new and existing bridges and culverts.Review and verify bridge rating calculations and computer-generated documents.Interpret complex plans to support ODOT policy implementation.Maintain historical data for bridges and culverts.Prepare technical reports on bridge and culvert load ratings.Assist in or conduct training sessions and seminars on bridge rating.Prepare bridge posting reports as directed.Benefits to you :
