Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled ICU RN with a current CA RN license, ICU experience, and active BLS and ACLS certifications for night shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting

Patient population requires critical care nursing expertise

12-hour night shifts from 7 : 30 PM to 8 : 00 AM

9-week assignment duration

Uses Epic EMR system, prior experience preferred

Responsible for delivering comprehensive critical care to ICU patients

Must provide two professional references for consideration

Position open to both local and travel candidates, with the same pay scale

Dress code and scrubs in line with hospital policy

Contingent workers may not exceed two years of cumulative assignment at this health system without a 90-day break

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration

At least 1 year of recent full-time ICU RN experience within the past 3 years

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required

Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred

Two years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred

NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN preferred

Dialysis and SLED experience preferred
