Product Quality Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Product Quality Engineer in Auburn Hills!

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Understand engineering and industrialization aspects of remanufactured parts, such as design, specifications and machinery, in order to enhance the process without affecting original design intent.
• Understand field quality key process indicators (KPI), working with the organization & Supplier's Engineering and Quality Teams and work on implementing Quality improvement strategies.
• Support product teardown reviews, component attrition studies, root causes and corrective actions with closed loop feedback to the organizations Engineering & Quality teams.
• Develop project objectives and plans by providing input specific to product / process design requirements, project elements, and project scheduling.
• Plan, schedule, and lead Process Audits for Reman Parts - verify corrective actions to ensure compliance with technical requirements of the product and process according to a standard.
• Evaluate quality and program risk on an ongoing basis, with emphasis on meeting Throughput expectations.
• Be the voice of Supplier issues on component availabilities and follow up with expeditious execution of corrective actions to mitigate production working with Purchasing & Supply Chain teams.

Pay rate is $42.72 / hour.
