Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient - Days

Lincoln Surgical Hospital is looking for highly motivated nurses with previous experience or the desire to learn to care for our more complex, multi-specialty surgical patients. We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care.\n\nThe Registered Nurse is directly responsible for coordinating care of the surgical patient and providing highly skilled nursing care postoperatively emphasizing early recognition of medical or surgical complications, which may arise in any patient.\n\nHours : Full time, 48 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Two 12-hour shifts per week from 5 : 45 am – 6 : 15 pm. Or 60 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Three 12-hour shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the second week. Self-scheduling and minimal weekend requirements (2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 1 Sunday in a 6 week timeframe).\n

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license.\n
• Current BLS required at time of hire.\n
• ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of employment.\n
• Previous post-surgical care experience preferred.\n
