The AWS Cloud infrastructure is built around Regions and Availability Zones (AZs). AWS Regions provide multiple, physically separated and isolated Availability Zones which are connected with low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with proven experience, strong sense of ownership and passion for defining and driving large cross-functional programs. The candidate should be self-driven, have the ability to learn quickly and influence decision-making across organizations. In this position, you will work closely with various Amazon business units to gather, refine and drive program goals including compliance and financial management. You will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures driving continuous improvement while interacting with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon.

Day in the life
Your work will involve multi‑year subsea projects requiring careful planning and disciplined execution. You will drive projects to meet goals and timelines, ensuring deliveries meet high standards and specifications. When issues arise, you will invent solutions to keep projects on track and keep customers informed.
About the team
The Subsea engineering team is responsible for all aspects of submarine network deployment, operation, upgrades and management within AWS. The team owns the technology roadmap and standards for submarine fibre optic cable, installation methods, and procurement of the SLTE, RSPC and associated operational models.
