The Project Engineer is a key role, responsible for managing the technical and financial aspects of assigned projects. The Project Engineer coordinates testing, sample / data collection, subcontractor tasks, evaluates data and compiles written reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies. The person needs to be reliable (responsibilities, tardiness, etc.) and have a good work]. The ideal candidate is a reliable, trustworthy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where both collaboration and autonomy are valued.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear. Body motions and movements include : bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing.
- Lifting and / or moving up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to twenty-five pounds.
- This job is in Florida, with exposure to intense sun, intense heat, humidity, rain, thunderstorms, and other adverse weather conditions.
- Job site conditions may or may not be accessible by vehicle and can include wetlands, swamps, grasslands, and fields with uneven surfaces, sand, brush, and other natural and man-made obstacles.
- This job is primarily and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and construction sites where the noise level is usually moderate to loud.
Job Responsibilities :
Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projectCalculates cost and determines the feasibility of project based on analysis of collected dataPrepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, testing schedules, and designs for the projectInspects construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering test plans, specifications, and safety standardsDirects where necessary activities at the project siteUses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications :
P.E. LicensedBachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering requiredMaster's degree (M.S.) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering preferred1-4 years of experience requiredEngineering Intern (E.I.) Certification and able to obtain P.E. license within 6 month
