Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Critical Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
Utilize data to track patient outcomes and improve care quality.
Support a culture of accountability and high performance.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.
Experience / Qualifications
Current RN license in the state of Colorado with CCU experience.
Proven experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a CCU setting.
Ability to monitor and assess vital signs accurately and promptly.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
Ability to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Experience in collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Eagerness to engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Willingness to mentor and train new nursing staff effectively.
