As section supervisor you'll contribute to the security and oversight of our classified information systems in support of real world, mission focused tasks. As a Collateral Information System Security Manager Assistant Section Supervisor / Protective Distribution System (PDS) Manager...

• Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for knowledge management, Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) management and oversight, risk evaluations / assessments, compliance metrics, and GRC tools / dashboards-driving accountability, clear communication, and a resilient security posture.
• Serve as the primary PDS Manager , overseeing the design, deployment, inspection, and remediation of PDS across classified environments; ensure compliance with DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and DCSA directives.
• Align with the ICC Section Supervisor and ICC Group Supervisor to enforce APL and U.S. Government requirements across classified environments; meet program demands while maintaining continuous accreditation / ATO.
• Establish and report risk-scoring KPIs and compliance dashboards ; brief leadership on posture, trends, and remediation progress-including PDS risk mitigation and inspection readiness updates.
• Own the SSP lifecycle (development, maintenance, accreditation / re-accreditation) and conduct periodic reviews to ensure sustained compliance.
• Serve as alternate POC for security inspections, tests, and audits by oversight authorities; coordinate evidence, responses, and corrective actions-including those related to PDS non-compliance findings.
• Directly support the Collateral Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer - Classified Compliance (DCISO-CC) in setting policy, governing risk, and sustaining accreditation so mission systems remain secure, compliant, and inspection-ready.

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education / training and skill level with consideration for internal parity.

Minimum Rate : $100,000 Annually

Maximum Rate : $227,500 Annually
