RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details :

Work 12-hour day shifts from 5 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly

Maximum 6 days return to offer (RTO)

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH certification

3+ years of ICU RN experience required

Must be competent in managing highest level acuity patients with neuro / trauma background

Patient ratio typically 2 : 1, occasionally 3 : 1 for stable patients on rotating basis

Floating to other units required

Work in 34-bed unit split between MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU) and ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU)

Navy scrubs required

Use Cerner EMR system

One-week orientation including hospital-based learning, Cerner training, compliance training, and unit-specific training with preceptor

Must be located more than 50 miles from facility (no local candidates accepted)
