Local CDL Driver (Fife, WA)

Murrey's Disposal is actively hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver with a valid Class A or B CDL to join our team in Fife, Washington . If you're a safety-focused driver with experience in waste collection or looking to start a stable career in the waste management industry , we want to hear from you!

Pay & Schedule

Competitive hourly wages starting at $35.00-$35.50 / hr

Full-time schedule : Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays

45-hour work week with overtime opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a residential garbage truck on designated routes

Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions

Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance

Load and unload waste materials-sometimes without assistance

Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and dispose of refuse

Provide courteouscustomer service and complete other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

Physically demanding role-requires lifting over 50 lbs

Exposure to outdoor weather , fumes , vibration , and moderate noise

Must follow all safety protocols around moving mechanical parts

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

High school diploma or GED preferred

At least 2 years of relevant driving experience

Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
