Description

Honeywell is

currently hiring an experienced Sr. Advanced Turbomachinery Project

Engineer to join their team in Torrance, CA.

As an Sr. Advanced Turbomachinery Project Engineer here at

Honeywell, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in

the design and development of complex engineering projects, acting

as the subject matter expert and driving technical excellence. You

will report directly to our Engineering

Manager.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Overseeing the design, development

and qualification of turbomachinery components including Gas Foil

Bearings, Liquid Cooling Systems, Turbine Power Systems,

Compressors and Fans which meet customer and internal requirements.

Leading teams in establishing program plans

with respect to cost and schedule.

Identifying and resolving design problems of performance, strength,

weight, material selection and finishes.

Identifying and incorporating best practices for product design.

Implementing development and qualification

test objectives, writing test procedures, and overseeing the

preparation of test units and the conduct of tests.

Coordinating activities to reduce test data,

prepares test reports.

Production Technical

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's

degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline

such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

Minimum 5 years of experience in

turbomachinery design and analysis

Strong

knowledge of turbomachinery design principles, tools, and

techniques

Experience with advanced

engineering analysis methods such as CFD analysis and finite

element analysis

WE

Bachelor's degree

from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as

mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or

aerospace engineering

Experience with

turbomachinery design and analysis software

Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities to drive

organizational change and influence stakeholders

Excellent project management skills to

oversee complex turbomachinery engineering initiatives

Passion for continuous learning and

professional development, staying at the forefront of industry

advancements

Ability to work in a

collaborative and cross-functional environment, fostering a culture

of teamwork and innovation

The

annual base salary range for this position is $117,000.00 -

$147,000.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a

general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when

extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and

responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience,

education and training, key skills, as well as market and business

considerations.
