Blevins, Inc., a financially strong, privately owned wholesaler of building supplies, is searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst. This position will be based in our Corporate office located in Nashville, TN.

Blevins, Inc. is a private and family-owned company. We are headquartered in Nashville, TN and currently operate 14 branches located nationwide. We have provided manufactured housing, storage, mobile office and related building industries with home essentials, construction products and coordinated installation services for over 50 years. What you will do...

  • Oversee lease accounting and property-related financial activities.
  • Maintain and reconcile lease schedules and ensure compliance with ASC 842.
  • Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze operating expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting budget adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations, while supporting audit processes and implementing internal controls.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models and reports, utilizing advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, PivotTables, VBA) to streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in property / lease accounting and full-cycle accounting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and lease accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Process-oriented with strong time management skills
